Poland Visa Guide for Pakistani Citizens

✈️ 1. Visit Visa (Type C – Schengen Short Stay)

Purpose:

  • Tourism
  • Visiting family/friends in Poland

Required Documents:

  • Schengen visa application form
  • Valid passport (at least 3 months beyond return)
  • Two passport-size photos (white background)
  • Travel itinerary (round-trip flight booking)
  • Hotel booking OR invitation letter (with PESEL number if from resident)
  • Cover letter explaining travel purpose
  • 6-month personal bank statement
  • Proof of employment/business
  • FRC (if visiting relatives)
  • CNIC & passport copies
  • Travel insurance (€30,000 coverage)
  • Visa Fee: €80 + VFS charges

💼 2. Business Visa (Type C – Schengen)

Purpose:

  • Business meetings, trade exhibitions, or corporate visits

Additional Documents:

  • Invitation from Polish company
  • Business letter from Pakistani employer
  • SECP/NTN/Chamber of Commerce certificate
  • Business bank statement (6 months)
  • Proof of prior cooperation (contracts/invoices/emails)
  • Travel bookings and accommodation
  • All Visit Visa documents

🏠 3. Family Reunion Visa (Type D – National Visa + Residence Permit)

Purpose:

  • Joining spouse, parent, or child legally residing in Poland

Steps:

  1. Sponsor applies for your residence permit through Polish Voivodeship Office
  2. Once approved, you apply for Type D National Visa through VFS

Documents Required:

  • Type D visa application
  • Residence permit approval letter
  • Marriage or birth certificate (translated into Polish + attested by MOFA)
  • FRC from NADRA
  • Sponsor’s residence permit or Polish ID
  • Sponsor’s income and accommodation proof
  • Police clearance certificate
  • Health insurance
  • Passport + biometric photos
  • Visa Fee: PLN 450 (~€100)

📌 Register with local city office after arrival and collect residence card.


🎓 4. Student Visa (Type D + Temporary Residence Permit)

Purpose:

  • University studies or academic programs in Poland

Steps:

  1. Get accepted into a recognized university in Poland
  2. Apply for Type D visa (national)
  3. After arrival, apply for residence permit (karta pobytu)

Documents Required:

  • Acceptance/enrollment letter from Polish institution
  • Proof of tuition fee payment
  • Proof of sufficient funds (PLN 15,000–20,000 or equivalent)
  • Bank statement/sponsorship letter
  • Accommodation proof
  • Educational certificates (HEC-attested + translated into Polish)
  • Medical certificate & police clearance
  • Health insurance
  • Passport + visa application

👷 5. Work Permit Visa (Type D + Residence Permit)

Purpose:

  • Long-term employment in Poland

Steps:

  1. Employer applies for your work permit in Poland
  2. Once approved, you apply for Type D visa from Pakistan
  3. After arrival, apply for residence permit

Documents Required:

  • Original work permit from Voivodeship Office in Poland
  • Employment contract
  • Valid passport
  • Educational & experience certificates (translated + attested)
  • CV + cover letter
  • Proof of accommodation
  • Police clearance certificate
  • Health insurance
  • Medical certificate (if required)
