Denmark Visa Guide for Pakistani Citizens

✈️ 1. Visit Visa (Schengen Type C – Short Stay)

Purpose:

  • Tourism
  • Visiting family or friends
  • Up to 90 days within 180 days

Documents Required:

  • Schengen visa application form (C Type)
  • Valid passport (3 months beyond stay)
  • 2 recent photos (white background, 35×45 mm)
  • Flight reservation (round-trip)
  • Hotel booking OR invitation from host in Denmark
  • Travel insurance (€30,000 minimum coverage)
  • 6-month bank statement (original, signed & stamped)
  • Job letter, salary slips or business proof (NTN, SECP, etc.)
  • FRC (if visiting relatives)
  • CNIC + passport copies
  • Cover letter explaining trip purpose
  • Visa Fee: €80 + VFS Service Fee
  • Biometrics required

💼 2. Business Visa (Schengen Type C – Short Stay)

Purpose:

  • Business meetings, seminars, events, or training sessions

Additional Documents:

  • All Visit Visa documents
  • Invitation letter from Danish company (with dates, purpose, and who bears expenses)
  • Business letter from Pakistani company
  • Proof of business relationship (emails, contracts, invoices)
  • Company registration docs (NTN, Chamber certificate, etc.)
  • Company bank statement (if self-employed)

🏠 3. Family Reunion Visa (Type D – Long Stay + Residence Permit)

Purpose:

  • Joining spouse, children, or parents legally residing in Denmark

Documents Required:

  • Type D Visa application form + Denmark residence permit form
  • Passport + copies
  • Marriage certificate / Birth certificate (translated & attested)
  • FRC and evidence of relationship (photos, chats, marriage photos)
  • Danish sponsor’s ID or residence card
  • Proof of accommodation in Denmark
  • Danish sponsor’s income proof, job contract, or business license
  • Medical certificate & police clearance
  • Travel health insurance
  • Visa Fee: DKK 2,000–3,000 (€270–400)

📌 After arrival, apply for a residence card via Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI).


🎓 4. Study Visa (Type D – Student Residence Permit)

Purpose:

  • Higher education in Danish universities or institutes

Documents Required:

  • Admission letter from Danish university
  • Proof of tuition fee payment
  • Educational documents (translated & attested)
  • Financial proof: approx DKK 6,397/month (~€860) for living expenses
    • Bank statement or sponsor’s affidavit

  • Residence permit application form

👷 5. Work Permit Visa (Type D – Residence + Work Permit)

Purpose:
